Dear GA families

We are excited to invite you to our Year 7 Academic Review Evening where we invite parents to come and discuss the progress of their child as they come to the end of their first secondary school term and Unit 1.

The evening will start with a talk which will cover:

• Expectations of Year 7

• Curriculum

• Homework

• Enrichment activities available

• Attendance in School 

• Assessment preparation at home and how you can support your child

You will then be able to collect your child ‘s assessment results which you can discuss with school teachers.

This will be followed by an opportunity to meet the teachers, discuss the work covered by your child over the unit and look through their books and assessments.  You will not need an appointment to talk to individual teachers as you should be able to talk to them at your convenience throughout the evening.  

This will take place in School from 4.30 - 5.45pm.  We look forward to your full support in ensuring that the students at Gloucester Academy are able to climb their own personal mountain to the best professions and Universities.   Please indicate your attendance by filling in this form so that we can plan refreshments accordingly.
