Free TIC+ Parent Support Group
Dear Gloucester Academy Families
We would like to make you aware of a free fantastic opportunity available to our parents through Teens in Crisis (TIC+).
TIC+ are running a 6-week programme starting from June 2024 in Stroud, Cheltenham and online via Microsoft TEAMS - this should ensure that this programme is widely accessible. The group is designed to target parents/carers of children between the ages of 11-18 within Gloucestershire.
The groups are designed to inform and support parents, helping parents to understand their child’s distress and discover effective strategies to improve their child's resilience. The groups are also an opportunity for parents going through similar experiences to encourage, support and learn from each other in a safe and friendly environment.
