Dear GA Families 

We are writing to you with regards to Sports Day.  Regretfully, having looked at the upcoming weather forecast, and the amber weather warning issued by the Met Office, we have made the decision that we will have to postpone the GA Sports Day until September 2022.

In the current hot weather, we don’t feel that everyone will be safe, outside in the sun, for the whole day.  This is despite all of the precautions we have in place.  Therefore, it would detract from a great event.

We very much look forward to welcoming everyone on site for Sports Day in September 2022, when the weather is cooler.   We will write to everyone in the new academic year with details. 

We continue to ask that all students come to school with a water bottle that can be refilled during the day.
